on the up and up.. I have been busy writing lyrics for my demo. It has been a mind boggling week and its like a load of pressure to the brain. Because as most music artist's know.... creating a song is so very technical, im sorry extremely. Its like a Picasso painting. You have to visualize it, how it sounds, how the harmonies lay.. how to emote it.. then you have to be prepared to lay down all the parts in a matter of hours in the studio. Then you have to Ascap your lyrics, license beats, etc.....
Sometimes you can reach a dead end and have to re-write and the thing I hate the most is a mind block...
when .. nothing .. comes to you...
then its like fishing.. for something and thats the worse when you start force feeding words to make them into a song... because I feel it doesn't come naturally. So I just stop and come back to it.
Other than that I enjoy writing. It gives me a chance to leak out my experiences , thoughts... or fantasies in the entertaining format of a song. It is quite relieving at times. But I am enjoying it and taking it slow!
